Agreed. The move at 0:52 is where you pick up two cards, the Spade being on top and the Diamond being on bottom. When he flips them over, he flips 2 cards over, but when he hands him the car, he’s handing him the top card, the spade.
This trick is all about distracting the person and making them think you’ve done something fishy with their card in hand. Pretty amusing trick when you see reactions!

At 0:52 he switches the heart for the spade, and at 0:57 he switches the diamond for the club.
And for whoever gave me a -1 for my previous comment, watch it again. The diamond was “supposed to be” on top.

i think he gives him Q diamonds, double turns to show Q hearts, switches the ace that is actually on top w/ the Q diamonds, then takes it down and switches w/ something else in the deck

No. When he shows the second queen he does a double lift. So the queen is actually not the top card. The top card is an ace. So when he gives him the second “queen”, it is actually an ace. Then when he takes the first queen, he does a quick switch with the second ace, and puts the “queen” back into his hand, but it’s really the second ace. It’s in the execution and the distraction, and Blaine does that very weel.

no yaiue thats not how 2 do it. the deck is rigged. at the top its Q A A Q. he gives the dude the top queen then he does a triple lift to show the other queen. the daivd picks up the first ace and does the switch thing and when he gets the dudes card he quickly switches it an 0.57 (like u pointed out)

u see when he took the Q then at 00:57 he place the Q on top of the deck which is on his left hand and then quickly and smoothly taken the A from the deck and place it in the blk guy’s hand

So then whenever he quickly taps the remaining Q in Emmits hand, is he just very quickly switching the card he is holding? I see the trick with one of the Q’s, but not the other.
